"I have had the pleasure of doing business with Ally P. at Dave Cosper State Farm for several years now. I tried getting my auto and condo insurance with an impersonal online agency, with email being the only means of communication and no real ability to discuss questions or concerns with a live person. For me, the experience fell far short of the personal contact and attention I get when visiting Ally's office. I have always found her to be knowledgeable and able to offer sound advice on coverage issues... and she's so very pleasant to deal with. I plan on sticking with Ally and State Farm from here on. "I thought you guys complaining were being babies so I tried getting a quote from here and I was told it takes 15 minutes. After 3 days I heard nothing back so I called again and they said they sent it but they didn’t. Then they offered to send it again and they didn’t do that either. They also blamed my current insurance agency (State Farm also) for the delay because they tried to take over my account without my permission. I simply asked for a price Quote as I am considering moving to FL. Wow what a disaster of an operation. No thanks!!!"

Ally is my agent and goes out of her way to make sure all my insurances are taken care of, I have multiple vehicle policies, business equipment insurance, my home policy, additional personal liability insurance. I am a busy guy and sometimes forget to make a payment and Ally goes out of her way to straighten the mess I created out. It is not just her all of the staff is top shelf and I highly recommend them for all your insurance needs."

"I had been with Dave Cosper for 11 years, insuring 2 cars and an RV. I was on my way to purchase an RV in Dothan, AL, so I needed insurance for my new RV (Brinkley fifth wheel) when I phoned at 3 PM on Friday before Labor Day weekend. No one answered the phone-- and when I called the State Farm main line-- they insisted that someone was at Cosper's office, even though I had called several times. I called a local State Farm office (Tim Holladay) who was very helpful-- the agent even called the personal cell of Cosper's agent because she knew the number. She must have talked to her because she said she "was driving and had left early." Well, I was told at the State Farm main line that my old insurance would transfer to my new RV as long as I alerted State Farm within 14 days of purchase. Also, they couldn't write me a policy for my new RV because I had my policy through Dave Cosper. Well, my insurance didn't transfer to the new RV, and I was scrambling at 4 PM Saturday in Dothan trying to get any insurance I could to get my new RV off the lot because the RV dealer required new insurance.

What was inexcusable was that Dave Cosper's office never called me back-- at all. Not even after the holiday weekend. Not after I left my message on Friday, and not even when Tim Holladay's agent left a message-- and Tim Holladay's agent went above and beyond to try to call two people on their personal cells-- although her office would not benefit from her customer service. So I called the week after I purchased the RV to talk to Dave Cosper himself about this poor customer service, and he refused to even call me back because according to the employee who took my message, Misty, he doesn't handle those kinds of issues-- you have to go through his employees. When I insisted on a call back from Dave, Misty called me the next day and said that Dave would not return my call and he communicated to her that I was free to take my business to another State Farm office. So I took my business to Tim Holladay, whose agent was so kind to try to help me when Dave's office was allegedly open.

So good luck to you if you ever want to actually speak with Dave Cosper."

"Been trying to get a simple declaration page for my grandma with hearing problems for two weeks. She has been lied to by every agent that she has spoken to (Greg, Jason, Jonette, and lastly Ally). Greg sent her the renewal form that is not valid until a future date. Jason sent her an ACORD 25 valid for a single date and missing identifying information about the vehicle. Jonette is special education or something and Ally simply lied about sending a form and never did. She is now looking for another insurance company after 15+ years of pleasant experiences with farmers. This is a leadership issue worth investigation."

"Just got a policy through the State Farm website which was easy to work with and was pleased with the user friendly process. Once my application was complete, I was assigned to Dave Cosper's office as my agent. The communication has been par at best. I may call the 100 number to see if they will assign me to a different agent.
